Wedding favours for children
Who doesn't love a party bag? I think these from not on the high street http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/dottieandbelle/product/wedding-favours-for-the-little-ones are a fab idea for children.
It would be fab to personalise these for each child, as there will be few children at our wedding I am sure that would be possible, although I may need advice from a parent as to what is appropriate for each age!

Brooch bouquet
Love this Brooch Bouquet from Lilybuds Bouquets on Etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop/LillybudsBouquets?ref=seller_info. There are so many lovely designs. They are really pricey so I am thinking of having a go at making my own using florists wire. I love vintage Jewellery and it is often quite cheap to pick up so I think it might be worth a try despite my lack of artistic talent.

Mendhi
I have always thought Mendhi designs are really beautiful but being involved in my friends preparations helped me to realise what a lovely process the occasion is. I would love to incorporate this into my wedding as it is really nice to have time with your female friends a few days before the big day in an informal and relaxed setting. I think something simple just on the palm or foot would be best for me. There are so many beautiful designs to choose from.
House wife tips number 1.
In the lead up to the wedding I am trying to become more domesticated, I hate it when people come round and the place is a mess, so far I am being fairly successful but I ain't no Anthea Turner yet. I find that having good cleaning products makes it slightly more tolerable. No one likes to clean out the dishwasher filter, but these little tablets make the dishwasher cleaner and leave your plates and glasses shiny. They also smell lovely which is a bonus.

Confetti
I love petal confetti like this one above from http://www.confettidirect.co.uk/delphiniums.html. The cost of the cones is however extortionate but there are many guides on how to make your own I love this one http://dineatmine.blogspot.co.uk/2011/06/how-to-make-your-own-confetti-cones.html.
Shropshire petals also has lots of lovely mixes, and I like the idea of their wheat sheaves, either as a bouquet option or as table decorations. http://www.shropshirepetals.com/shop/3_Wheat_Sheaves. They would be both long lasting and also probably cheaper than fresh flowers I think.

carnival style
Love these tickets from not on the high street, £2.50 for 50 http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/millyscottage/product/admit-one-tickets-pack-of-50. They are a cheap way to add a touch of individuality to the styling of the day. Just need to think of a way to incorporate them.
